Thanks for joining Rick! I'm trying to get this sight up and going so there will be plenty of people to meet, go to the track, grudge race with.

No kidding I cant wait
Cant wait to start racing. I think I already have cabin fever from the past couple of days of rain. I want to make it out your way to Music City Speedway next year and try out your track. I will let the Mustang guys here know you got the site going, the more the merrier.

Re: Slow 5.0 New to the forum.
So far I have put in a drop in k&n filter and a bama 87 octane tune. I'm waiting to burn the gas in the tank and try the 93 octane tune now. I was reading about the Steeda CAI, there is a guy in u-tube that ran a 12.2 with 3.31 gears in a manual trans.

The JLT is much nicer I promise.. Also, the Boss intake manifolds, and a 3 inch x-pipe work wonders on those cars.

Keene Bell
That Kenne Bell supercharger is no joke. What did you end up running last season after all.

Re: Slow 5.0 New to the forum.
You have no clue what headers and a full exhaust would do to that car. lol

Headers
Would headers be as beneficial for a NA set up?

Not as much as FI but still are really beneficial.

Thanks
That's what I figured. The combustion chamber needs to be emptied faster with Forced Induction but it can only empty as fast as the size of the valves once the exhaust stops flowing. I just did not know the limitations or the size of the exhaust valves on the new 5.0. Thanks Bro.

Re: Slow 5.0 New to the forum.
If I had a 5.0, I would get and x-pipe, cat-back, JLT intake, boss intake manifold, 4.10 gear, Barton shifter, and race star wheels. That will put you at well over 400whp, and one nasty track car.

Re: Slow 5.0 New to the forum.
